Marriage
By Bobby Russ (1996)

Oh, my dear, I must say
this is an important day!
My love, I do not know nor see
Any other day that gives us more glee.
Today we together walk
Forever we together talk.
Our love will never die.
I am the most blessed guy!
Happy is your Father and Mother
And teary-eyed are your sister and brother.
They see us walk down the aisle
It's the long-awaited mile.
Happily and joyfully we step
Our family gives us lots of pep.
Walk us further and further down
The ever beautiful one with the gown.
Her love shines forth like a beam.
Oh, this must be a dream!
She has given me more joy
Than a child with a new toy.
Forever we shall be
For Love is our key.
We stand holding hands
Exchanging our wedding bands.
This day I can forget not
Nor this memory ever be bought.
I waited for this day for so long.
For many days, I have wanted you along.
Dreams we many times share
of us being a pair.
We share our important line
And in marriage he us combine.
We are now one.
The ceremony is done.
We shall always be!
Oh, Lucky Me! Lucky Me!
