You are a lovely yong lady,
Are you waiting for anyone?
It is so fare to see a young woman
Standing alone in this world.
How are you doing tonight,
Are you feeling well?
There are so many people out tonight
Enjoying the cool night air.
What is your name again,
It is a real pleasure talking to you.
I just wish that I could say
That I knew you better.
What brings you out here tonight?
Oh, you have a boyfriend.
It has been nice talking to you,
ButI had harbored illusions
That you were a single young woman,
So I will not take up
Too much more of your time.
