Reunion (Part II)

Chapter 1

"It is a place I haven't been to in a while. I ran from this place. My anger, revenge, and bitterness drove me away from where I belonged. Could I really face them? Could they forgive me for what I have done," Fue de jOie asked standing on the path that would lead to the Viceroy's old palace, home of the Secfenia Central Guard.

Fue signed and started walking down the path. "Who knows what will happen? What's the worst that could happen," Fue asked himself. Many scenes came into mind. Fue tried to wipe away every trace of doubt. He grabbed the door's dangle and opened int slowly. Some of the people in the lobby stared at him and watched as he walked down the main path. Various whispers scattered across the lobby.

He entered the dining room and sat down at the table. Those who were at the table stood up and left except for one. Angela blinked at Fue and smiled. Fue looked at her oddly. "Welcome back, Fue. I knew you'd be back," Angela told him. Fue blinked at her. "Why do you treat me differently than all of them? Don't you know the dishonor I've heaped upon myself by what I did the last time I was here," Fue asked.

"Fue, you were lost and now you are found. We missed yuou and I'm glad you are back," Angela told him. "You are probably the only person to have missed me. I swear I will never understand you," Fue commented. "Maybe not, but you have a strong sense of duty. Sometimes a little misplaced anger shows up. I can't blame you for that. We all deal with our anger in different ways. I'm going to go get Jon so he can hear the good news of your return," she said standing.

Fue nodded and watched her leave. Sitting there alone, he wondered what would happen in the future. Angela accepted his return but would others? He didn't know what would come to be. The past was an amazing rollercoaster with many ups and downs. Some of the times he thought were so good turned into such misery. Fue hated waiting, but sometimes that was what caused him such pain.

A door opened and Jonathan stepped through it. His face was nuetral. Fue stood up and looked Jonathan in the eyes. "Jonathan, I need to rejoin the Secfenia Central Guard," Fue told Jon. "Is there any reason why you should and why I should let you," Jon asked sitting down at the table. A minute of silence tortured Fue. He had been waiting for that question for a long time. He had thought of a million responses he could make, but he never knew what he would say when time forced him to face it.

"I know I do not deserve to be a part of the guard, but it is my responsibility. I owe it to me father. I owe it to my family. My life is no longer mine to do with as I want. I need to help restore Secfenia from the darkness that has engulfed it. I am a humble servant of Secfenia. If I am not allowed to rejoin the guard, then I will do whatever I can do to help on the sidelines. I have dishonored my family enough and I want to carry on my family's love and passion for Secfenia," Fue said speaking up with tears in his eyes.

Jon looked him over. "Angela was right. You have grown up some," Jon commented. Jon placed his sword on the table. "I shall restore you back to your old position. You shouldn't even be let in as an ensign, but for your family's sake and memory, I'll let your transpasses go," Jon said. Fue nodded and thanked him profusely.

"I have a mission for you," Jon informed him. "What can I do to serve Secfenia," Fue asked. "I need you to go and find the individual who claimes to be Alexander Jessica Jackson. Find out everything you can about him and who he really is. That is your mission," Jon told him. Fue nodded and replied, "It's good to be able to assist once more." Fue stood up and headed out the door. Angela came through the door and told Jon, "I told ya he'd want to be reunited." Jon nodded and smiled.
