Hope
They shut me up in hate.
Forcing Happy to another place.
Constantly they do debate
And Still hope lingers on my face.
On and On it goes.
More and More and More
When it stops - Who knows?
The only closed thing... is the door?
Stare through Windows with Bars
Thoughts are pinned down
Stuck in black, gooey tar.
Happiness in only a thin gown.
Its taken off layer by layer - bye!
Yet the strongholds must find new ways
and the façade must always try
To stay up and clear all the days.
Discussions and merry tales
Seem to be very far
For It is to fail
He's no longer up to par.
What hangs in the air? Doom?
What shall the inside say?
What lingers? What looms?
Shall it all fall into hay?
A day passed and hope is.
What shall tomorrow hold?
Alas, Time tells it as it is.
It can be so very cruel and bold.
Places and Places alone
Why must it be so?
Why must it be grown?
Why it be the great foe?
Peace shall indeed come
War shall be no more.
War shall be on tongues dumb
Who shall never again bore.
Lost is never hope
Wishes come flowing forth
Dream die? Never and nope.
So be it as north is North.
Let never a tear drop.
Hold the strongholds still
It shall indeed stop!
So, Happiness in the heart fill!
We will not give up hope
No matter what. Never and nope.
